Hi — Just got this note from Jo at our website (www.thinhouse.net) — happy to hear about CASL, and good luck with your work. Tom Hager
Hello Hager family! I, too, live in Eugene and it was fun to learn of your house project. Very good, exciting stuff! I wanted to let you know of an effort going on at the University of Oregon called the Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Living (CASL). Inspired by CCAT, another student-led project at Humboldt State University, students began building support and lobbying the University administration to allow a house to be retrofitted and turned into a living experiment of how to live more lightly on the planet. After 7 years, CASL will finally open the doors to its house this Earth Day, April 22. Check out the website: http://www.uoregon.edu/~casl/
