Hey all, we apologize for the lack of updates… New job descriptions and applications have been posted, and can be found by clicking the “get involved” link on the left.

Please attend our Winter Term weekly meetings Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Lawrence 100. Lawrence Hall is the Architecture and Allied Arts (A&AA) building located on campus at 13th and University Street, behind Colombia and in between Pacific and Allan Hall. If you are a new member interested in finding out more about CASL please arrive early to meet CASL members and discuss your ambitions for sustainable living.

2ND ANNUAL MUSIC FEST

CASL is hosting its 2nd Annual Music Fest at the Lorax Manor this Friday, February 26th. Join us for an evening of excellent local music and support our construction efforts with a $5 donation. Casa de Dilla will be serving yummy snacks to give you tons of energy. If you can’t make it out, KWVA will be live broadcasting the show!

7 bands. Two stages. Fun starts at 9pm.

Come to the EMU Fir Room TONIGHT at 7pm. Swap your gently used clothing for new-to-you duds that will impress your friends and save the environment. There will be raffle prizes and live entertainment from the Songbirds who will also be playing at the 2nd Annual Music Fest this Friday at the Lorax.

Bring one item to get in, three to be entered into a raffle, or as many as you would like!

Redefine the Dream Ideas

Hello CASL fans! As you may (or may not) know, CASL puts on an event every spring called Redefine the Dream where we try to teach students on campus about everyday sustainability through interactive and fun activities. We stay with one theme, and develop on it with activities, speakers, and lots of juicy info.

This is a call for ideas! All you wonderful, creative, and knowledgeable people out there must have some great ideas for our event this spring. Let’s have it! Please comment if you have any ideas you’d like to see played out this spring on UO campus.

Do you love using hammers, saws, and nail guns? CASL has weekly workparties every Saturday 11-3pm at 1801 Moss Street. Everyone is welcome. (Date and time subject to change)

Want to expand your resume?

If you answered yes to one or both of the above questions, contact CASL to get involved with fundraising for our student group. CASL provides many workshops and events to the University of Oregon and Eugene communities but to be able to do so we need funding! Recent awards to our group have been for a solar hot water heater and a green roof for the CASL House at 1801 Moss Street.
